Please read this tips as it may be helpful to you.

1. During Emergency

The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an Emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly, this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.

2. Stolen Mobile Phone

To check your Mobile phone's serial number (IMEI), key in the following Digits on your phone: *#06#. A 15-digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. If your phone is stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

Childhood Dreams in Graduation Exercises

Last March 25 my niece had her graduation exercises in Kindergarten. Few weeks before it, she is asking her mom what should she says in their individual recital of "When I grow up I want to be ______ because I want to ________. She has lots of choices, her options are artist as she said she want to draw and draw, another is she wants to become a nurse because she likes to wear a nursing scrubs, she also think of becoming a teacher. Oh well, she has lots of dream, I now all of them are childhood dreams because me to wants to become a nurse when I was a little child for a reason that I like their uniform. But, upon hearing their conversation, I've interfere and said that her's should be unique so that she could attract the audience. I've told her that if she likes she can tell "When I grow up I want to become a beauty queen because I want to bring pride and honor to our country", and olah she likes it a lot. That's the line she've memorized and recited in her graduation.

During the actual recital in their graduation day they are many pupils who want of becoming a nurse, for they want to cure the sick, they are some who told that they want to wear a nursing uniform. And for the beauty queen my niece is the one who only recited that kind of dream. Well, whatever she wants to become when she grows up we are always in here side to support her, that's for sure.

I am dreaming of having a pair of fitflop for almost months now, but it is so expensive for me. When I am passing by a store and seeing a pair of it I am always thinking of buying it but once I've look at the price (price starts at Php3,500) I told myself that it was ugly and not worth it LOL. But when I've check my paypal account lately yahhhhhooo I can already afford a pair of it. My pay-pal money by the way came from the paid post in this blog. Thanks for this blog, I have already bought a pair of fitflop that I always wanted.

An Open Letter for my Mom and Dad

I love you so much. Your the greatest mom and dad in this world. I am so proud that I am one of your children. Now that you are celebrating the 49th year of your wedding anniversary, I have only one wish for both of you, "May the two of you have many more years of celebrating your wedding anniversaries together".

Thanks mom and dad for making us what we are now. We know that your life 49 years ago is not that easy. You are not abundant by material wealth we know, but your love for each other become the foundation of the family you are building then. Thanks for the abundant love you've given us. Thanks for being a good example to us. Thanks for everything. I will never get tired of saying to everybody that your my mom and my dad! Love you.

I am so Loved

Yesterday is my 26th birthday, I thought it was just an ordinary routine day for me; waking up at 6:30, going to work from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, and going home again. No celebration, no anything, even a dinner with hubby and Zoe somewhere was so impossible to happen. After arriving at the office I’ve check my mails and OLA I have lots of greeting from my family and friends. I felt I was so important hahaah. At work birthday means lunch out, so we headed up to HapCan for a lunch. (I hate myself for not bringing my digicam). After lunch, back to work again, and ooooh, I was very surprised when there’s a flower box in my chair. I thought it came from an officemate since I was teasing her to give me a flower on my birthday. But I was confused with this note,

I’ve chat hubby thru ym and told him that my officemate is bullying me by pretending that the rose is from him, but I’m so surprise when hubby says that it was actually from him. Without my knowledge, Hubby and my officemate Niko have already talked about this days before my birthday. They have a successful connivance, I was so surprised!

Thanks dad for this bouquet. I felt, I was so loved.

My Friend's Gift

Last January 21, I’ve received the last Christmas present from Julie. She is not a simple friend, she’s like a sister to me. We always share thoughts and laughter from time to time. Even if we’re not seeing each other everyday we have a frequent communication and share crazy thoughts through phone and social networking.

Her Christmas present. Thanks dearly for this.

I was surprised when she handed over her gift through a messenger. Actually it’s not the gift that really matters. It’s the thought of friendship that matters most. Thanks Manay Julie,( hopefully your gift will be yearly. LOL) for all the love and friendship. I hope our friendship will last until we got old (grandmothers of our own apos) and that we will see them being the closest friend they could too.

Last month I've attended two weddings for two dear friends to me and my husband.

December 18, 2010 when Louie and Karen got married. Louie is hubby's friend since there college days. He is also our daughter's ninong.

Nursing or Not?

As early as now we are already asking our niece that will be an incoming high school student to decide into what course she wants to pursue in her college. We keep on telling her to decide earlier so she can prepare for it.

Her mother was a nursing graduate and is now working in a hospital somewhere in KSA . I have the feeling that she also want to be like her mother, she even ask me if nursing is a good course but somehow we are discouraging her due to many nursing graduates and even a license nurses that can’t find a good job. But of course at the end whatever she wants will prevail. If she pursues nursing it will be an advantage for here because she will inherit her mom’s things but not the nursing uniforms, because it is already old and the color had already faded. She must have to buy her own medical scrubs and uniforms in medical uniform stores. But having a nursing student is much expensive for parents, not only the uniforms and tuition fees they have to consider but also the expenses for their things, the expensive books and so many others. We keeps on reminding here that she must think of the best course that she wants to pursue and she must consider the job availability that suits her course after her studies. But one thing is for sure; whatever she decides on we are just here to support here, not only here but our entire nieces and nephews.

Christmas is in the air. Twinkling lights and colorful parols in every corner you will see. Party’s here and anywhere. Our company wide Christmas party will be this coming Friday, December 17. And part of the celebration is a contest of “deck the hall”, the department that will join the contest will dress up their respective lobbies. Our department joins the contest with the theme “Paskong Pinoy”, each and everyone of us is required to do our own mini-parol made of any old and unused materials.

And for my craft, I used old cd, color magazines, paste and scissor.

And here's my finished art work, it's very cute, isn't it? We can have our chirstmas decors from things we thought should be thrown already, we have just to be creative.

Yesterday, I got this email from an office mate, and I want to share it with you.

One young academically excellent person went to apply for a managerial position in a big company.
He passed the first interview; the director did the last interview, made
the last decision.

The director discovered from the C V that the youth's academic
achievements were excellent all the way, from the secondary school until the postgraduate research, never had a year when he did not score.

The director asked, "Did you obtain any scholarships in school?" the
youth answered "none".

The director asked, " Was it your father who paid for your school fees?" The youth answered, "My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.

The director asked, " Where did your mother work?" The youth answered, "My mother worked as clothes cleaner. The director requested the youth to show his hands. The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.

The director asked, " Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes
before?" The youth answered, "Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Furthermore, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.

The director said, "I have a request. When you go back today, go and
clean your mother's hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.*

The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back, he happily requested his mother to let him clean her hands. His
mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to the kid.

The youth cleaned his mother's hands slowly. His tear fell as he did
that. It was the first time he noticed that his mother's hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother
shivered when they were cleaned with water.

This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fee. The bruises in the mother's hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his
graduation, academic excellence and his future.

After finishing the cleaning of his mother hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.

That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.

Next morning, the youth went to the director's office.

The Director noticed the tears in the youth's eyes, asked: " Can you tell me
what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?"

The youth answered, " I cleaned my mother's hand, and also finished
cleaning all the remaining clothes'

The Director asked, " please tell me your feelings."

The youth said, Number 1, I know now what is appreciation. Without my mother, there would not the successful me today. Number 2, by working together and helping
my mother, only I now realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done. Number 3, I have come to appreciate the importance and value of family relationship.

The director said, " This is what I am looking for to be my manager.
I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of
others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life. You are hired.

Later on, this young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently and as a team. The company's performance improved tremendously.

A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop "entitlement mentality" and would always put himself first. He would be ignorant of his parent's efforts. When he starts work, he assumes that every person must listen to him, and when he becomes a manager, he would never know the sufferings of his employees and would always blame others. For this kind of people, who may be good academically, may be successful for a while, but eventually would not feel sense of achievement. He will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more. If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying the kid instead?*

You can let your kid live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch a big screen T V . But when you are cutting grass, please let them experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plates and bowls together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in a right way. You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow gray, same as the mother of that young person. The most important thing is your kid learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learns the ability to work with others to get things done.

You would have forwarded many mails to many and many of them would have black mailed you too...but try and forward this story to as many as possible...this may change somebody's fate... :)

My Dearest

Looking back eight years ago, when we’ve been introduced to each other, the courtship period, those love letters, all the happy memories and the time I say yes to officially be your girlfriend. I will never forget those days. I know that starting those days I’ve finally found the guy for me. Yeah, it may sound corny but it’s true. I am so lucky for meeting a guy like you; you’re “ONE IN A MILLION”. I am the luckiest person for having you as my husband, my friend, my companion and everything.

Word is not enough to express how much I love and adore you. Those eight years that we’ve been girlfriend/ boyfriend and nearing two years as husband and wife, always remember that I treasured everyday that had passed and never a minute I regret that I’ve been with you and keeps on loving you. Now, that we are temporarily apart from each other, you are working away from me and Zoe, always remember that we love you very much and been missing you everyday. I know that if it is hard for me, it is much harder for you. Do always take care of yourself. Zoe and I love you very much.

Childhood Ambition

When I was a child I always dreaming of becoming a nurse. I always told myself that one day I will also wear a scrub from a scrub store. I don’t know why but it was really attractive for me seeing a nursing students and or nurses working in a hospital wearing medical scrubs. But, it was a childhood dream/ ambition, it didn’t pursue for some reasons. I graduated as Financial Accountant and Banking and Finance instead. Anyway, I have no regrets graduating with those courses.

After graduation, I want of having a job as soon as possible because for me, my parents had already ended their obligation of financing my needs. I have to earn for my own expenses. Being a province girl, I immediately went here in Manila, stayed in my sister’s house to find a job. Luckily, I was accepted for a job as Bookkeeper in a clinic after less than one month of applying. Without expecting it, the owner of the clinic told me that me to will wear a clinical gown at work. I was so happy hearing that news, even if my dreams of becoming a nurse is not fulfilled, I have bee able to wear a nursing uniform scrub. Now, I am no longer connected with them but I am thankful to her for fulling part of that ambition.

Prodigal Son II

Here is the continuation of our own story of Prodigal Son. After pleading forgiveness, sincerely talking to my parents as well as to us (his sisters and brothers), we have decide to give him another chance. Holding on his promised that he will change his bad attitude and habits he did in the past. He is already staying in our house once again. He is showing his good side now. Hopefully, what he is showing now will be forever. If only he pursue his study, he is already a graduating 4^th year high school student this coming March. But, I know it is not too late for him to study once again, if he decides to enroll again in the next school year we are willing to send him again to school. Now, I am crossing my fingers, saying a prayer that may God enlighten and brighten his mind and lead him to right path.

Prodigal Son

We have an instant brother from 1995; he is with us from his early 5^th month from birth. He is the family center of attention; we give him all the love that a family should give. Since, he is the only baby that time he got all he wants. He was a very cute little boy, a very talented and bright toddler; he is also an honor pupil when he was in his elementary years. But, when he enter his teenage life his world was totally change, he is always with his friends, he learned to smoked and drink liquor. He was totally influenced by his friends. He even steals things to finance his vices, worst he steals our things little by little. He doesn’t even try to listen with our advices, when he was scolded, when we try to talk to him, he doesn’t care. He stopped going to school because according to him it was so tiring going to school, he never bother to follow simple commands/house rules we give to him. The only thing he knew is he has many friends and he is enjoying it. We give him hundred times chance to changes, but it never happened. Until the time when our parents give up, we just let him go with what he wants. He leaves our home and stayed anywhere. We heard from neighbors that he tried working as slave in a lumber factory for him to sustain his living; he slept in a parked jeep at night. Until the time he realized all things he did was wrong. (Hopefully!). He went back to our house asking for our parent’s forgiveness about all the things he does. He repented (How I wish and pray, it’s from the bottom of his heart). Now, I don’t know how this story will will come to an end…. Our parents are relying on our mutual decision. Hopefully, whatever that mutual decision is, it will lead into a positive result. If me alone will decide I want to give him another chance, who knows he already realized the essence of life. I know my parents as well as my brothers and sisters have a soft heart, hopefully this will end like those of the Prodigal Son.

Our Lady of Peñafrancia "INA nin BIKOLANO"

Our Lady of Peñafrancia also known as “INA NIN BIKOLANO” is the most celebrated religious activity in Bicol Region. As Arch. Legaspi mentioned in an article, “Our Lady of Peñafrancia is part and parcel of the identity of the Bikolanos. She is their mother, patroness, and protector. If siling labuyo is the character index of the Bikolanos, Ina is their spiritual index. She has been a rallying point of unity for the Bikolanos. Anywhere a Bikolano goes; he or she is expected to be a devotee of Ina.” Devotees believe that if you will sincerely ask for blessings from her it will come through.

This is celebrated in Naga City every September. It is started with “TRASLACION PROCESSION” or the Feast of Divino Rostro, this year the procession falls today (September 10). The image of Ina as well as the Divino Rostro is transferred from Basilica to Naga Cathedral. The images are transferred through a procession that is participated by almost all religious organization, civic organizations all over the Bicol region, as well as devotees all over the world. The two images are carried by a group of men known as “voyadores”. It was followed by a nine day novenary mass. At the last day of the novena the images will be brought back to the Basilica (her home) this if called “Fluvial Procession”. This time the images of INA and the Divino Rostro are carried by“pagoda” arch designed water transportation) this will pass through the Naga River.

During my childhood up to my college days we are always going to Naga City to participate in the fluvial procession or if not to watch the Fluvial Procession and of course to pray for the Divine Intercession of “INA”. My First Art-Work, Angel of Love

Cross-stitch is a form of embroidery in which X-shaped stitches in a tiled, pattern are used to form a picture.

This is the first cross stitch I ever made. I thought I can't do it, it's hard to start, but yahhhooo I made it. The pattern is called "Angel of Love", I found the pattern cute when I saw it in a store that's why I've bought the materials and do it. I’ve learned doing cross stitching thru my sister who is addicted in doing this craft, she has already seven displayed framed cross stitch in their house. Hopefully, I can do as many as she can in years ahead.

To You My Dearly Friend

We’ve been close friends. We share good memories, laughter, chitchats together. The friendship has started when we’ve been office mates before; we become common friends to at least three persons more. Do you remember the crazy times we did when we are in our OB (official business)? We’ve been regular visitors to your house and vice versa, to eat, to laugh and do crazy things. I treasure that, and I will treasure that forever, surely others feel the same, But, How about you? Do you feel the same? The friendship we have share to you is genuine, is yours also a genuine one? Hopefully! Now, that we are not office mates already, same with our other friends, you’ve changed a lot, I don’t know why, the first year or should I say months that we are no longer seeing each other everyday everything went okay, you are a regular texter to us, a regular chat mate, you always update us on what is currently happening to you. I remember, you even visited me at the hospital when I gave birth to my child. But, as months go by, you’ve change, up to the point that we can’t reach your cell phone number already. There is a time that one of our friends is trying to call you for an important matter to discuss but you are turning off your cp. Why? And now, even in one networking site you have deleted us as your friend. Is there something we have done that hurts you? And why is it that you deleted the three of us, but not the other one? Tell us if you don't want us anymore. But, remember this my dearly friend, even if you hate us (if you do) we love you and we cherish those good memories together, forever.

Long distance???

I was into a long distance relationship with my boyfriend (now my husband) when we are into boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. I am serious with our relation, but the long distance relationship is very fine with me since I am studying at that time. Now, my husband left for a work in Cebu and he was already there for three days now, the days are somewhat so long (LOL). I am hoping that he can finish his work there earlier so that he'll be home soon. I now appreciate the value of every husband in the family, a family will never be called family with a mother-daughter alone. My husband is very good in house chores most especially in taking care of our one year old daughter, he is the one who prepares our daughter's milk every night, and even letting our daughter sleep.I know that our little Zoe miss her Dad much. She might also wondering why I am the one doing all the things that her Dad's do for her. This is the first time he accepted a work outside Metro Manila from the time we got married. So I am adjusting so much without his presence, maybe this is also the time for me to be trained with the emotions,and everything since he is also planning of working somewhere to save for our future. Hopefully, I am already emotionally prepared we get there for I also know that he is just thinking of us and our future.

Planning a Vacation Trip

I love my parent so much but I am not the showy person type, I must admit. Instead of telling them how much I love them I keep on teasing them on anything, so I am thinking of ways to show my love for them. That is why, I am planning of bringing them in Baguio City this year. I want to surprise them with this vacation. I want them to feel relax for at least a week. They are worthy for a great vacation. Of course I want that our little family will join them with this vacation.

For almost weeks now I am asking this favor to my husband and finally he agreed, I told him that we have to budget everything, including their transportation expense (from our province to Manila and vice versa), our hotel accommodation in Baguio, our foods, and the likes. Also we have to include in our budget our baby car seat. Since we have our 1 year old baby and bringing him without car seat is a little bit hassle, we are planning of buying her here own, and it’s very timing, I have found this cosco car seat, as I look at their product I was so amazed that the design is so good, I started loving their adjustable infant car seat (this is also on sale, yahooo!!!) or this Graco Snugride. Surely hubby will also like this, it was not only the design that is good but the quality of their product is also excellent.

Hopefully our vacation will come true this year. I am now dreaming of how fun would that be.

Zoe's First Birthday

Our first daughter Zoe celebrated her 1st Birthday last May 22, 2010 at Max's Restaurant, SM Makati.

It was already 48th years when both of you tied the knot, promised to God that you two will be together forever, for better or worst, in sickness and in heath until death do you part. You two is a very inspiring couple, not just for us (your children) but to many people.

You two who brought the nine of us (your children) into what we are now. I remembered then, when you are sharing your stories to us; when you are starting to build our family without anything, but you have done the very best for us to become better as we could. My Parents Love Story

I remembered back in my elementary years, my mom is busy of something when I’ve asked her about their love story. She asked me why? I’ve told her, It was our assignment in school to know our parents love story (but it is not true, I just want to know how they become together hahahaha :-)). She just told me that I should asked Papa, so I went to him and asked him the same question, Pa, Pauno kamo naging mag-agom ni mama (Pa, How you and mama become couple?). Then, He started the story.

I was already engaged that time with other woman; we’ve already planning our marriage when I met your mom. It was an unexpected meeting. I was a regular devotee of San Pedro (an image of St. Peter that was included in a procession during holiweek in our town, a family owned/adopted image of my grandparents) every procession I am following his image and sometimes I’ve helped in carrying San Pedro. There, I’ve meet her, we become friends (I‘ve make a way to be friends with her friends too), from simple friendship, I’ve realized that I love your mom more than friend, I know, I love her, more than my fiancée. My fiancée and I broke up. Then, I’ve courted your mom, we become lovers, but at first our relationship was secret, your grandparents were strict, (as you know that your mom is the youngest daughter). So everytime we will meet, It was a secret, your mom will told your grandparents that she will just go to her friend’s house. And, as the time goes by, I know that my intentions is good (I want your mother to be my wife), I’ve finally meet your grandparents, months later, I’ve informed my parents that I want to marry your mom. So we went to their house. I’ve formally asked your mom’s hand to your grandparents (namanhikan) and then we settle everything for our wedding.

That’s how my father narrates their love story. What a very inspiring love story, there I’ve realized that their relationship is an un-ending one. From childhood up to now I am a witness of their true love. Now, they are already celebrating their 48th years as husband and wives. Happy Wedding Anniversary to my dearest mom and dad.

A Day at Manila Ocean Park

Starting last week, I'm so excited for November 2 to come, (since we don't go to Bicol and it's holiday) we have scheduled this date for a trip to Manila Ocean Park. The entrance fee is Php400 for adult and Php350 for kids (2 ft. above). Here's some of our pictures:

mommy moments - Precious Gift

My little angle was just five months, if materials things will be the basis for the precious gifts, I have nothing to tell but when precious gift means the feelings and everything here it is:
This is the very first time I held my baby, it was seven days after delivery. She stayed in an incubator that is why it's takes some times before I held her. The happiness was different, I was teary-eyed, it was very fulfilling to held your baby after months of waiting. I am so happy of being a mom, It is the most precious gift I ever had more than anything else.

Beware of Kidnappers

As I got home from office last Friday, resting before preparing our dinner, my attention was caught by the report in television (through ABS-CBN TV patrol) regarding the baby that was kidnapped. If I am not mistaken, the baby was just a week old and was taken by the a woman about 20-25 years old who introduce herself as a nursing student, and needed to interview a new moms as a requirement in their school for her to pass the course. She even treated the mother of the baby for a foot-spa at a mall (the mother brought her newly born baby and her elder child), while the mother is having her foot-spa, the alleged nursing student voluntarily tell the mother that she will take care of the babies first and will go to a restaurant to treat the elder child. As the mother went to the restaurant, she found her elder child alone, her newly born and the alleged nursing student was not there anymore. After watching the report, I immediately told Zoe’s nanny not to entertain any unknown people who are trying to talk to her about anything.

I am sharing this, so that we can avoid any other incident like this; let us brief our nannies about what to do in case there are cases like this. Hope this will not happen to us.

Zoe is Already Five Months

Zoe has just turned five months yesterday. It's too fast, she start talking already that makes me and her dad so happy every time we hear those sounds that we too can't understand.

Tantrums....Tantrums

Here's my share of Zoe's tantrum moments.
Zoe was just three months here, she was cradled by his Kuya Christian (my sister's son, I am handling her too) she is not comfortable the way she was carried, we just granted Christian's request of cradling her.

Zoe felt very sleepy here, she becomes irritated every time she's sleepy. She don't want sleeping in here bed, but she loves it when you will be the one to lay down and she is laying down on your chest.
Tantrums is very common for babies, especially when they are tired, hungry, frustrated, there diapers got leaky and many others. You can also share your babies tantrums at mommy moments.

Memories of Early Delivery

I just wanted to share my experiences that I had with child birth. When I was pregnant with my baby, it is pretty good. Thus my only problem is that I had UTI (which is also common to pregnant women) and I gained weight fast. I was advised by my Gynecologist to take an antibiotic for the UTI and was cured. My second trimester was quite good and we don’t encounter any problems regarding my pregnancy. I was expecting a 100% fine delivery. But, it was May 20 when I saw blood spot on my undies I thought it was just normal since I am not feeling any ache or anything. I go to the office as usual without any problem at all, even at May 21 I go to office as usual, but after office hour I go to my OB’s clinic to ask what is it, and it happens that my OB wasn’t there so I called in her cp and I was advised to go the hospital (VRPMC). Upon examination of the resident doctors there, we found out that I was already 2-3 cm dilated. I am so afraid co’z I was just 35 weeks pregnant at that time, (my due date was June 19). My OB advised the resident doctors not to allow me to go home anymore because they will try to stop my early labor since it is not my due date yet., they even tried to give medicine to stop the dilation and everything. But, the medicine was not effective I go on with the dilation, it becomes 4cm, 5cm etc., then there are many doctors talking to me, that I have to gave birth already and that they will just try their best to save the baby, they are advising me just to pray hard for the baby to be safe, I was just crying and crying because I can’t accept it, if something happens to my baby. At 8cm the anesthesiologist already injected the anesthesia at my back and then, in less than an hour the water breaks and I gave birth. I saw my baby crying already and was cleaned by the attending Pediatrician and after it she was rush to the nursery and was placed in the incubator. The next thing I know is that I am already in the recovery room. I gave birth without suffering any intolerable pains at all.

Now, my baby is already 5 months old, and was healthy. She is already 6.8kg. Hopefully she will grow healthy and free from any illnesses. She already knows how to smile and even try to start talking.

mommy moments - A Day at the Mall

This is Zoe's first time to visit a mall, at SM Fairview, before going home from my sister's house we stroll at SM with Zoe's grandmother.

Zoe was just 2 months old here with her dad at SM Foodcourt.

This was last week at Mall of Asia, I enjoy bringing here anywhere.

My hubby's supposedly surprise gift

It was me and my hubby's 7th year anniversary as boy friend/girl friend last October 8. Without my knowing he plans on surprising me an anniversary present (my husband is not a guy of surprises or anything, he found it something corny). Before our anniversary date his friends visited us at home and accidentally confessed the "surprise thing" to me, he told me that my husband has ordered a bag for me.

Though it wasn't anymore a surprised one I was very happy that my hubby has extended some effort for me. To my hubby THANK YOU so much, I really appreciated it.

Zoe's visit to my office

I'm on vacation leave at office yesterday but I went to SSS Diliman to secure for my new ID, after it at around 3pm I brought my Baby Zoe to our office.

Storm Signal No. 2 has been hoisted over Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, the northern part of Quezon, Aurora, Polillo Islands and Isabela.

Areas under Signal No. 1 were Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Cagayan, Babuyan Islands, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Benguet, La Union, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Zambales, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, southern Quezon, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Burias Island, and Northern Samar.

Ondoy's Damaged

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon is still recovering from the damages caused by last week typhoon Ondoy.

Many families are still in evacuation center. There are lot of casualties due to the heavy rains that causes flash floods and landslides more particularly in Rizal, Antipolo and Pasig area. Let us all pray that this will not happen again since there is another typhoon that is coming to the Philippines.

We visited my parents in Bicol (this is Zoe's first time to travel) I'm afraid co'z she might cry and cry in the bus (What should I do?, if she does) but, I am so thankful that she just sleep the whole night trip.

Six Ways to Show your Love for your Baby

1. I only have eyes for you
gaze at them more often and for longer periods. So when you are feeding or changing your baby, make sure you and your baby only have eyes for each other.

2. A cuddle and a kiss
Touch your baby frequently and hold your baby close as often as you can. The close contact soothes babies as it reminds them of the comfort of the womb. When caring for your baby's needs – whether it's changing, bathing or dressing, use gentle affectionate movements.

3. Who’s a good baby then?
Talking encourages a baby to look and pay attention. Use 'parentese', repetitive simple sentences that encourage the baby to babble in return and prepare for later language development.

4. Create an exclusive little club
Have little rituals and ways of doing things that are special to you and your baby. For example, come up with a special song that you sing while bathing. This way your bond with your baby is unique and can't be imitated by any other person.

5. Know when enough's enough
Mothers who have a strong bond with their baby, adjust their behaviour to the state of alertness of their infant. Babies are easily over stimulated, so pay close attention to your baby’s mood. Your baby won’t always want to pay attention or to interact with you and will turn away from you. That’s not rejection of you just simply that your baby has had enough for the moment.

6. Big daddy
As babies get older and become more active they begin to appreciate the particular qualities that dads bring with them. Fathers with their physical play, the way they often set more challenging goals and just the sheer novelty value of dad being around can all be very stimulating to a baby.
